There’s a cross promotional opportunity for the entire PBC welterweight roster - PBC needs to open the doors to Crawford so they can begin to build the value of the Spence versus Crawford fight

Honestly I have no idea why the PBC fighters who have 0% chance to ever get in the ring with Manny or Spence are not going hard as hell trying get a match with Crawford (ugas, figueroa types). What do they have to lose? Put that shyt in the media, go to his fights, whatever to get it on front street. If Arum just blatantly blocks it then it's clear and apparent at that point.

The promotional responsibility bit is just juelzing to rationalize in house match making. That falls apart when you realize the Rod Salka's of the world are put out there to get CTE and no one gives a damn about their health. Robert Guerrero was on the card last night. How much money did he make for losing a couple more brain cells. All that and it's no way to calculate how much more money would be made. These aren't unknown prospects, with that logic why fight Porter last night then. Especially for $2 million

outstanding fukking fight...a clear FOTY...with that being said it was dumb close

Porter fought like a man possessed on a mission. One of the few times I was actually impressed by Porter fighting because I dont know how he took the shyt he took. the KD was a thing of beauty caught at the right time as shawn was throwing, right on the chin. Then Porter came roaring back for the rest of the fight. i thought Spence would win but i thought Spence would beat him down and stop him late due to me perceiving Porter struggling to make weight and starting to get worn down. Now I dont have a problem with Spence being on a p4p 10 list..he earned it. But he is not head above any welter at this time. He is very beatable or risk to really get broke by a prolific puncher. Great fight..time to watch Benavidez vs Dirrell

If that kid who was in the ring with Guerrero fought the whole fight like he did the final two rounds he might’ve won . . beside that though he really didn’t seem like he should’ve been in the ring with someone like Guerrero, I think Guerrero is just back for the money, and to get that he is going to get in the ring with virtually harmless undeveloped “talent”

I just checked the compubox, I thought Porter threw more punches, but Spence threw 745 to Porters 744 and landed at a significantly higher rate(especially power and body shots). I agreed with the 116-111 for Spence, although I will eat a little crow(looking at you @mag357 ) cause Porter did bring out the dog in Spence.

This fight did not change my opinion though, Spence would still beat Crawford. Porter had something nobody else did... His dad trained Spence during the olympics, he knew his strengths and weaknesses and still couldn't do it. I'm disappointed cause of no KO by Spence like he promised, but in no way is this a blemish on Spence.

the benavidez from the first gavril fight showed up...dude was not impressive..dirrell boxed him the hell up..the jab by benavidez that ripped open his eyelid won him the fight...benavidez def threw an elbow to make that shyt worse...dude was on his way to getting that droopy eyelid..once ant couldnt see shyt was a wrap..didnt like seeing him battered after that..good fight

Yes Spence put him in in his punch out, respect for that, I wrote about that in an earlier comment. I think Spence wants the fight.

You don't see any agenda from FOX and ESPN to make people believe it's only about their universe? For example on FOX they suddenly don't recognize WBO champs because politically that's not Haymon's side but they recognize fukking WBA regulars and shyt... acting like IBF + WBA + WBC would be = undisputed. And that has nothing to do who Crawford fights they just generally do that.
ESPN doing this too to a lesser extent. They need to come off of this just as PBC. There won't be a monopoly in boxing, not gonna happen. This is not a 30 years old sport where you can pull this like UFC did in MMA. All PBC, ESPN and DAZN are probably here to stay for the next dew years at least.
