Gamboa fight was over 5 yrs ago, Gamboa was undefeated and still considered good/dangerous back then
Honestly Crawford resume ain't as trash as people be trying make it. Beat Gamboa when he was undefeated, Durlome when he was somebody, Postol was undefeated and had just took Matthyesee soul, Jeff Horn is whatever but he gave Manny trouble, Benavidez and Khan each present certain challenges.
You'd think he was fighting Leonard Bundu or Carlos Ocampo or washed war torn dudes like Peterson or something the way yall talking
Crawford had 9 inch reach advantage and 3 inch heigh advantage over Gamboa and Gamboa still managed to rock his shyt somehow.
Postol is one dimensional as fukk.
Jeff Horn bullied Manny with his size cause Manny isn't an inside fighter he is an in and out fighter. Horn had the size and length to neutralize that.
Mattheysee is an ok win.
Benavidez was fighting on a kneecap he got shot in. Before Bud realized Benavidez couldn't move like that his length and ability to fight off his jab gave Bud some issues. Two legged Benavidez may have beaten Bud honestly.
Khan is washed with a glass jaw.
Ocampo and Bundu suck, but Brook, Garcia, and Porter don't and Spence has beaten them all under high amounts of pressure and expectations something Bud has never had to do in a fight, and he has never had to face a relentless opponent who also attacks the body. He has skills bro, but he hasn't been tested. Nobody he beat(outside of Gamboa which was really a mismatch) is a world beater or held in that high of regard.
Good fight but not worth that PPV price amount of $75. Hopefully, Spence vs. Garcia will not be PPV, but with PBC/FOX's new track record I am sure it will be.

with the Crawford slander. shyt is political as fukk...thats all. Spence is the #1 guy but Crawford is obviously #2 and his biggest threat. Then you have Manny. if you switched places with Bud and Spence then it would be reverse. Crawford is the most technically proficient WW there is now. He has some of the best adaptability as anyone since Floyd. He has speed, power, footwork, and good size/reach. As I said before, Bud needs that Spence fight sooner than later but being with Arum doesnt make him a tier below any damn body....it only makes it hard for him to get in the mix with the guys with the visibility. I'll say right now....Thurman was a problem for Manny and would be a problem for Spence, although I would favor Spence.....I would just about put money on the fact that Bud would the one guy that could stop Thurman.

The fact Spence basically couldn't do anything with Porter when Porter was on his toes is a bad look for a fight against Crawford (or Manny).
One sequence Porter landed like 4-5 jabs and rocked Spence with a hook and Spence was basically paralyzed by the movement
Coming in people were saying if Porter fought like he fought against Ugas he would get killed, last night fighting like that might have won him more rounds
As far as Crawford not having tough fights, they were saying the same shyt about Manny. Albeit Manny already had a resume built up but people were still looking at the Horn and Vargas fights acting like Manny would get killed by the PBC guys. Guys like Porter, Garcia, and Thurman are beatable. None of those might not even be tough fights for Crawford if we being real. It's a reason Haymon advising his guys from even mentioning that fight. Why risk Danny Garcia getting exposed like fukk on a split PPV when you can build him up as a tough opponent then cash out on Spence going life and death with him for 12 rounds. This narrative of anyone ducking or not facing good enough comp to compete with the PBC guys needs to be deaded. They average as hell.

Manny beat Thurman who wss gone for two years fukking some Indian brat...he ducked Spence outright. Wtf is going on around here? Nobody is slandering Bud bro, all nikkas is saying is that Bud is being hyped up to be the best welterweight and he hasn't beaten a single elite welterweight, not one. Arguably he hasn't even beaten an above average welterweight. All we are saying is if he wants to hold the crown we need to see him in action. Spence done beat some good fighters now, we've seen him in a war, we've seen him box, we've seen him in hostile territory and come out on top yet all we keep hearing is Bud this Bud that but his recent accomplishments don't warrant the hype he is getting. He needs to prove himself at 147.
