9-5 Is Some shytty Work Hours. How Do Y’all Do It?

Im 8:30 to 5. And I’m remote. But that’s not the schedule I follow.

I woke up at 10 am this morning. I didn’t really work today sad to say. Been on here too much and watching Legacies. I’ll be up at 8:55 tomorrow morning though to roll over and turn on my work lap top, because I have a meeting at 9.

When I did go to the office 1x a week I got in at about 9:30 and left at 2:55, come back home and finish my work up. As long as I meet my deadlines and do quality work, they don’t care. There are some days where if I wake up late, I just do my work in the evening

I work for an investment fund.

Don't. I refuse to work a job that doesn't allow for 3x12, it's partially why I went into nursing. People need to start protesting that bullshyt.

I worked a 2-10 shift one summer. Great for getting errands done in the morning, but you basically miss out on "life" because that's the window everyone is doing things outside of work or school.

Amen! I gotta doctor appt tomorrow and I can easily flex the hour and half I'm away after work...and that's if that's needed because my workload isn't crazy at this point like it was a few months ago.
