Yeah, but infrastructure won’t keep up with people buying EV’s and at the current pace, don’t be surprised if you gotta way over an hour just to charge plug in.

I have a couple of coworkers who have Tesla and now they are complaining that they are sitting in line for an hour or more to get a charge.

Your right about our infrastructure, we use to have rolling black outs during the summer because our power gird could not handle the residence using the electricity to power the ac and fans. This shyt is going to be bad when factoring in everybody buying EV, summer is going to be crazy

That’s if you are trying to charge on a supercharger, plugging in at home is no different from plugging a phone into a wall outlet. As well the price of solar has to eventually come down which makes charging at home free (eventually once you hit replacement cost of investment).

right now, the cost of solar panels would take me like 20 years to recoup my investment. I'll get on that wave once that technology drastically falls in price.

i read a comment elsewhere about how these high-priced gas stations are located near hotels where tourists don't know any better and business travelers use their company card.

oil companies reporting record profits.

I live right off the expressway, and the prices for the shell and bp right by my house near the expressway are significantly higher than any other local gas station. they rape u if u get it right off the expressway.

I dont know why people surprised about this inflation when the Bandemic 2020 happened and they printed all that $ . That's middle school economics

But these gas prices are a combination of supply-demand/inflation/russia bs/price gouging

supply demand theory is bullshyt.

I haven't seen ANY gas station with a shortage of fuel or a surplus of cars. there's plenty of fuel and similar demand as always. hell, given the prices, I'm sure demand is actually down these days.

the last actual shortage was in the early 80's when there really was a lack of fuel and they were rationing off fuel and u could only buy on certain days.
