while I agree that Bama is the only REAL contender in the SEC for that ship and have been saying this...it aint like there are any better conferences. Pac 12 is the only viable candidate
I dont know if Baylor or TCU beat Auburn personally and it isnt like WVU, Oklahoma, Okla St, Texas etc are balling out.

while I agree....Missi St. isnt exactly done. THeres no reason for them to drop out the top 4 losing to the number 5 team. Its fukked though cause thatll bump out TCU.folks were talking about two sec teams in the playoffs

a part of me feels like psychology is very at stake here too. maybe a team like Auburn feels like they have no chance any more because of the L they took and as a result just pack it in subconsciously and dont play as hard. it definitely has an effect.
It aint about them losing. They're an average team that beat a bunch of average teams in the SEC. They were propped up by beating average teams. They shouldn't be given props for those earlier victories. That QB is overrated. The run a high school caliber offense, and they have NO track record.
And for the record. Auburn won a lot of games by luck last year AND THEY LUCKED INTO THE NATIONAL TITLE GAME. People assumed they would dominate this year which I didn't buy. They're quarterbacks suck.

I honestly dont think a Pac-12 team outside of Oregon is beating Auburn in a matchup. They were probably just uninspired today. Ohio State I think would though and maybe Baylor in one of those 48-44 type games.

Put Auburn up against Arizona State, Arizona, UCLA...I'm putting 500 on Auburn to cover any spread thats less than a 10 points.
Put em against TCU or the trash out the Big 12 and again theyre taking an L. They already beat KSU

these committees and Florida State hasn't lost a game in how long? They've won over 20+ games in a row. That in itself is a feet that has gone unnoticed. No matter who they play each week, they get that teams best effort. Mississippi State folded under the spot light. Nobody knew who these nikkas were last season. But they were a 6-6 team last year now all of a sudden they're an SEC power house
