. I think people being aware of the facts is more important than a bunch of replies. It's not a big deal IMO. Though it would be interesting to discuss why the exact opposite is so consistently believed. Even I thought there were more black men in prison than in college until like a couple years ago just because it was repeated so often.

There are more black men in prison than in college. Has anyone ever watch College Athletics, the numbers in athletics alone wouldn't seem to support that argument let alone the regular students
Black youth of today are more violent than any generation in history. Growing up in the 80's and early 90's, dudes were way more violent and ready to jump you and throw hands than these skinny jeans, dress wearing pop tarts
Black boys are at a natural disadvantage because most are from single-parent households. As a product of a single family home, I always thought either that was overstated or I was some sort of super negro
