Petties was not a BMF plug, BMF got their work from a Sinaloa connect in LA, from a middle man, they didn't go straight up. The work came through Mexicali or Tijuana, to LA, and then shipped to Atlanta via the mail, and private vehicles.
Petties was with Edgar Villareal , La Barbie, who was with the Beltran Leyva brothers, who were all under Sinaloa banner at the time, but he was working out of Laredo, until he had to go to Acapulco.

I wanna say and anyone can correct me, Jim use to be tight with old dude Ali, I think that's his name, I read his book from (Zoe Pound) and the Zoe pound use to rob Meech's brother stash house from time to time. I think they use to get into a lot of wars based on the little bit of info that I read in the book and that's me just putting it together myself and making sense of it. So I can see that maybe being true about BMF chasing him.
