OP..

What you did wasn't snitching, but you blew the whistle.

You did what you did, but why did you decide to tell on your coworker? How come other co-workers didn't join in to report dude?

Do you feel that you got some sort of gratification for telling in your co-worker?

Sidenote: I believe civilian Black men are held to the same street codes as street dudes.

However, telling in any form is frowned upon by most people, even if they tell themselves meaning..

Nobody likes to be told on!

Bahaha, there are no superiors/supervisors at the location, and all my coworkers complain about it to. It got to me since I have to save my pto to take a vacation, but dude hasn't used any and has been taking bookoo vacay. Only so long it's bearable. Yall don't believe in structure?

"You don't snitch on co-workers" is not a thing. The hell is this bringing street code into the work place.
Maybe in your situation it won’t negatively affect you then. It’s just that once you tell on someone, and lets say they don’t get fired, they are going to want revenge. You better make sure you’re 100% above board, because that guy you snitched on is taking notes. Also, other co-workers may feel uncomfortable around you and afraid to be themselves, which leads to bad work relationships. I’m not talking about any street code, I’m talking about the potential negative consequences outweighing the benefits

I work an unsupervised position in a team 6 figure job. This dude been leaving early and leaving work for us to do without logging anything, so we have to constantly find and fix his mistakes. Anyway he slipped up one day saying "I have xxx hours of PTO". Mind you we should have at least the same or close. I log all my PTO to avoid any audits or time fraud. Plus ain't no way dude gonna have all that time off when he ain't been doin no work and always leaving work early or taking days off. So I reported to the boss (who is in another state). All the days he took off, he correlated it with his hours. Now there is an investigation going on dude haha. Got em. All yall who always complain about how you constnatly get screwed, don't be afraid to use the system yourself, cuz they will do the same for you. :russ:

dude was bragging about getting another job, now his only referral bout to report this to the interviewer :russ:

Did i win :mjlol:

oh nah breh, spoke to dude plenty of times about leaving early and leaving work causing us to have a backload of issues to resolve. This has been building up for a year breh. Plus I prolly got some points with corporate.

It's understandable every once in a while. But he did it multiple times a week.
