Another real good battle. Loved both of them joints. Prod had the uptempo epic shyt, almost sounded like a dope Rocky 4 flip

Cory had something different from what Im used to hearing from him. Had a dope lil jazzy mannie fresh vibe. I fukked with it tho.

Voted Cory, but it was close. Good shyt brehs.

i'm gonna say @901Cory10 easily. and no offense to @producingfire

imo, cory made a full-on beat and it was dope. whereas pf's beat went shorter (the intro and build was fukking fire!) but once it dropped it sounded like he was just showing off a whole bunch of tricks on it, instead of making it musical and interesting.

that was deciding factor.

Yeah it's more so for a beat battle as opposed to for an artist so I think that's what you're saying here. If that's the logic you were using I totally get where you are coming from. I'm using this as a platform to work on my beat battling for the year.

Thanks for commenting and helping to spread the battle prop!

Gonna go with @901Cory10 on this one for the more complete and rounded out track,
When I take part in a battle, I always bring what I consider battle music and in that sense I can see why @producingfire came with that beat. I agree with Propaganda's comments though, that it started off promising but the second half was too much of an effects reel and then the beat was over. Think this would work better in a 'live battle' format...

Thanks for voting Clanarchy!
Exactly the live beat battle format is my specialty- I need enough of these for the season this year when we begin again. With the virus happening the season has been thrown on hold for me but, when it resumes they won't catch me sleeping.

Both were dope but voted for @901Cory10. That's one of the best beats I've heard in The Tunnel if not the very best. I like the jazzyness, the melody is smooth, and the vocals took it to another level.

@producingfire you did your thing but Cory just had a more fleshed out song.

yeah i hear that. i think it'd hit super hard in a live battle format. it was dope for sure (and i shouldn't have said it wasn't interesting or musical, poor choice of words) but in this setting, against a fully fleshed out beat. :manny:

the two beats were like apples and oranges really. whatever the case, good showing breh. shyt was nice.

7mile to SE & Uptown!
both of these beats are dope...as was to be expected.
I'll start with the homie @901Cory10 Cory Todd...hell it's already known that he is one of my favorite producers period :manny: this shyt bangs :whoo:
when I listen to a CT beat I already try to position my ears to where I can pick up ideas hell in my OWN work be it beats OR lyrics. I think he is destined to have nice industry placements. That being said this beat is one of my favorites I have heard from him...and that's saying a LOT :patrice: hell Cory might be giving us throwaways...imagine the shyt he keeping to himself :mjcry:
@producingfire the homie...I purposely listened to your beat first because I knew with the time restraint that you put on yourself I would need to decipher your beat  unlike a lot of others, I think, on here I engineer as well as all the other things so when I hear your beats I already know in that might be 8 bars of beat that you display that you have a WHOLE track that you chopping form :picard: with that in mind once you hit the effects and all the other tricks you do :dame: I know at that point you just showing off  I like it because hell even from what you hit in the 8 bars I could take that and chop it into a song with lyrics if that's what I wanted to do :hubie:
so basically you show a piece of your puzzle then showcase your mix skill...you dope homie :demonic:
I'm not going to vote yet though but :salute: to you OG's
