But that's another point though, the gap between us all isn't that severe, someone born in 88 is just two years from a 90's baby, so if someone in 88 can have a good list then 90's babies can too as many do here.

This is a hip hop site tho. A lot of guys, young and old on here have better taste in hip hop than your average person. Most of my friends growin up would probably say Lil Wayne, T.I., etc is their GOAT.

All that really matters is the Hip Hop heads though, those people for instance who "just listen to Eminem" you disregard their opinion completely. I guess some would say Wayne, I've met a generation who rated Wayne quite highly. Personally I think Wayne is cool, but he wouldn't be in consideration for a GOAT list in the the top 20 or close. But I think he can rap and has made some good songs, and has some talent and attributes. But you can't just be "hot" for some years and be the GOAT, you have to be better than a lot of incredible people, Wayne as of now isn't close to that, and in my opinion neither is T.I. My main gripe with Wayne is what I feel is his inconsistency, there's Wayne songs I like, fukk Tha World, Tie My Hands, 3 Peat, This Is The Carter, few joints but it takes more than that to be better than a Pac or KRS-One or a Nas even.

Honestly it's between Jay or Kanye. I usually give it to Jay cause he was my favorite rapper first but I've been able to see Ye's whole rise. Depending on when some went to high school it might just be Wayne to some though.

With people I meet I see Jay as a popular choice for 90's babies. Jay and Pac I see quite often.

So since I was born in 86, I can't have a say in this..Geez. I do feel like the gap between late 80s and anyone born in 1990 or 91 isn't too wide of a gap so the choices will be the same
