:ooh:

I think the 2012 starting 5 would give the Dream Team hell, but the Dream Team's big men and bench would probably give them the edge..

Lebron James
Kevin Durant
Chris Paul
Russell WestBrook
Deron Williams
Blake Griffin
Andre Iguodala
Kevin Love
Tyson Chandler
James Harden
Kobe Bryant almost :flabbynsick:

Michael Jordan
Scottie Pippen
Charles Barkley
Patrick Ewing
Larry Bird
Karl Malone
David Robinson
Clyde Drexler
John Stockton
Chris Mullin
Magic Johnson :flabbynsick:

What ya'll think?

another one of these stupid threads. you kids obviously never saw the '92 team play

the 2012 gets obliterated by 1992 team

Go watch some youtube videos or something

most of the 92 team was in their _PRIME_, only magic and bird were old pretty much

the 92 team had 2 of the best perimeter defenders of _ALL_TIME_ (pippen/jordan)

the 92 team had what the 2012 has not much of, BIG MEN AND GREAT POST PLAYERS

who the fukk is stoppin:

1) malone
2) drob
3) ewing
4) barkley

??

Answer - no one

LBJ would get his points, but 1 player isnt beating an entire team of LEGENDS

you kids and your shock threads are not very amusing, this is utter nonsense

the 2008 team would have had a better shot and they still would get destroyed

Honestly, the 2008 squad is a better comparison, since Wade and Howard were on the team and Kobe was in the middle of his prime.

08 vs. 92 is close. 2012 isn't an all time squad talent wise

Im On The 92 Bandwagon And Watched That Team Play, But Saying They Would Obliterate The 2012 Team Is A Joke

This would be a debate if Rose hadn't gotten hurt, but now it's not even close 92.

This is how the production stacks up at the stages of these players careers, even though these players don't exactly play the same game, I'll match them up how they would be.

CP3 = Magic
Lebron = Jordan
Durant > Bird
Howard < Robinson
Love < Barkley
Griffin < Malone
Bryant = Drexler
Williams < Stockton
Iguodala < Pippen
Chandler < Ewing
Harden < Mullin
Westbrook > Leattner (LOL)

Yea, on paper the 92 team laps the 2012 squad.

08 is a much better comparison.

Like previously stated 08 would be the better comparison, but this team still has Bron and Bean on it as well as Durant. I'm sorry, im an 80's baby but i don't think they would just run over these boys like that. Bron, Durant, Melo (don't sleep on Melo in the olympics he's been there most consistent player the last couple times) would give Scottie all the problems they want. Who is Barkley gonna guard out that group? At center i think Tyson could at least contain Ewing if not neutralize him. And CP3 wud be at a disadvantage on D vs MAgic but so wud Magic against CP3 too. And i think MJ and Bron would cancel each other out.
