See how fukk up that sound?
What are you talking about? I literally said FEW parents would NOT press charges against anyone who molested their son. Are you saying black parents are fine with someone touching their sons?

Let’s get deeper. Are parents fine with people molesting their sons? Who’s fault is that? Any parent who is okay with someone touching their child is trash.

I’m pressing charges against anyone who touches my child, regardless of gender.

This thread makes it seem like Robert is less guilty, because he was a victim in his childhood. He was punished, because charges were brought against him, and the evidence proved he was guilty. But we should have empathy, because of his experiences. Life doesn’t provide you with automatic coddling. It’s messed up what happened to him, but that doesn’t make what he did less reprehensible.

And I’m sick of Coli brehs playing whataboutism when a black person is punished for doing something wrong.

Do women do these things and get away with it? Yes. But who is stopping people from pressing charges against those women? Look at all these teachers messing with underage male students. The parents found out, and pressed charges. That is the correct action.

so now that you know r kelly sister was a kid at the time, how do you feel about it?

if r kelly was a kid doing these things i would say what i said about the boy i knew who was doing those things. he needed to be rehabbed and family looked into, instead of 30 years in feds
but that's not the case with r kelly :yeshrug: this was a stupid example

I'm not surprised that this post is being avoided.

childhood trauma = traumatized adult... its being avoided because you all make excuses for bw

OP's point is pretty straight-forward. I'm honestly surprised there is as much juelzing and so on in this thread as there is. One can view the issues separately. It honestly sounds like some of y'all are caping for the person who diddled R. Kelly.

most black americans have internalized black misandry... they hate black men down to the genes....

Not every traumatized child has grown up to do what Robert Kelly has done, correct?

Also, what kind of charges do you want to place on his sister for acts she did as a child?
