What's Spring Break in Miami like? Is it worth the trip?
The kids seem to still have fun with it.. The locals HATE it and try to make it as terrible a time now as possible. They dont want the business there. The businesses do but the city of miami beach and the locals who live there dont. Area has changed and developers moved in, bought in rich families from all over..
Happened multiple times but goes, artist need a cheap place for their creativity, they find abandoned area, they invest and bring new energy, then their crowd follows, then other artist, then the people who want to be on cutting edge, then promoter$, cool kid$, dj$, etc. Area becomes hot spot, then the money follows, then developers come and make it corporate, then young people move there, rents go up, people become families, then they complain about loud music, paying high taxes, partying, crime, drunks, etc, then rents GO UP, artist get priced out, first to leave to find cheap place again, party still going on but its corporate and not "cool"
Wash rinse repeat..
happened on miami beach, wynwood, etc. Follow the artist and you can become millionaire investor, lol..
