'93 Suns. Bulls lose that game 6 and we see a game 7 in a series where they had no answer for Charles. Bulls would probably win game 7 but 1 game scenario can be difficult

Truth. That was a classic series, gets forgotten how close it was because it only went 6, but games 2, 3, 4 and 6 were classics that came down to one or two plays being the difference. Chicago went 3-1 in those and Phoenix really gave game 6 away in the final minute. Game 7 would've been crazy if they held on

Yes and to what i alluded to earlier Charles was on some 27-13-5 sh-t that series on 49% i believe :wow: :wow:

That's why all the "no rings" BS with Charles is just BS from people who never watched a game

Shaq and penny would have remained a headache for the Bulls If Shaq didn't bounce

93 Suns were giving the bulls hell on the low and I will never forget the "I don't know why they getting champagne and confetti ready they not about to win" prediction for game 5 from Charles Barkley and the Suns went right into game 5 and won that bytch. Bulls fans were legit shocked and a bit shook going into game 6 back in Phoenix

Only thing anyone remembers about the 92 finals is one game Jordan dropped 6 threes so they think that was a cake walk. That was actually a very competitive series as well.

The jazz in 98 were a legit threat as well. They had home court and went 2-0 vs the bulls that year and beat us pretty handedly those 2 reg season games. On top of the fact pippen was a no show that playoffs run. That was a series Jordan legit carried the bulls to a title

Pacers were def a threat though. But I would say the biggest threat was Shaq and penny.

Show you how weak that era was :yeshrug:
I don't think it was weak at all. Today you've got golden state in 6 of the last 8 finals and they faced the cavs in 4 straight yrs and those cavs were trash but somehow found a away to snag 1 of those titles. And most of those Bulls finals were highly competitive. The Knicks had two big opportunities to knock them off before Jordan's retirement, but they fukked it off. 93 was supposed to be the one even tho in 92 they went to 7 games. They beat them in 94 without Jordan finally. Then that 93 Sun's team had a home game 7 waiting had they not imploded in the last few minutes of gm 6 . That game would've been spooky for the bulls same thing in 98 after they went 7 with pacers the jazz fell apart in the last minute and Jordan went Jordan. That's the thing with only knowing the end result but not actually seeing how it really played out in real time. Those bulls series were like movies the bulls would be trailing going into a lot of those 4th quarters but they would always find a way and most of the country was watching it unfold. Which is why The 90s Bulls legacy is set in stone

That Pacers team was tough.

What is interesting is that not a single Bulls Finals opponent would win a championship today.

For all the talk of how good and deep that era was, every 90s championship runner up would get waxed in 2022 by this year’s Warriors. The worst iteration of the championship Warriors, mind you. The game has come a long way.
