The only series to have Bull fans on the edge of their seats, cause Jordan wouldnt allow any team to think they had a chance

shyt had me shook as a young’n when Jordan tripped and Pacers forced game 7 :wow:

Still get chills thinking about that shyt :wow:

Felt like the bad guys were finally going to win :wow:

I don't think it was weak at all. Today you've got golden state in 6 of the last 8 finals and they faced the cavs in 4 straight yrs and those cavs were trash but somehow found a away to snag 1 of those titles. And most of those Bulls finals were highly competitive. The Knicks had two big opportunities to knock them off before Jordan's retirement, but they fukked it off. 93 was supposed to be the one even tho in 92 they went to 7 games. They beat them in 94 without Jordan finally. Then that 93 Sun's team had a home game 7 waiting had they not imploded in the last few minutes of gm 6 . That game would've been spooky for the bulls same thing in 98 after they went 7 with pacers the jazz fell apart in the last minute and Jordan went Jordan. That's the thing with only knowing the end result but not actually seeing how it really played out in real time. Those bulls series were like movies the bulls would be trailing going into a lot of those 4th quarters but they would always find a way and most of the country was watching it unfold. Which is why The 90s Bulls legacy is set in stone
How were the Cavs trash?

The Knick Team that got in that Scrap wit Miami(97?)woulda gave em Hell too wit no Charles Smith to fukk it all up tok

I was gonna initially post about them but it still hurts to this day smh. I feel that that team was the one that had the best combination of veterans and younger blood to go against the Bulls in that timeline. Not saying we would've won but I believe it would have been a very tight and hard fought series.

In just the east these teams were better than the 98 pacers that the bulls faced
91 pistons - if zeke didn't have that wrist injury
92 cavs
92 knicks
93 knicks
96 knicks
96 magic (bulls were out for blood and they had some injuries thats why it was 4-0)
97 heat
97 knicks to bad stern screwed them

the only reason why that series went 7 is the refs missed the reggie pushoff in game 4

I don't think my Knicks were good enough in '96 but they still were better than that Pacers team...that was built like an off-brand Knicks team.

I thought I explained it clearly.

There are people who insist that the talent and league was better and deeper in years past. The implication being that even the secondary teams of that era would run circles against the best teams today. And it’s simply not true.

It's all relative breh. Same way a championship team from the year 2047 will wax all the teams of today. You judge teams on how they separated themselves from their competitors.

More people on the planet now too, so it stands to reason you'll have more talented players to choose from.

They didn't win back then either, so what's your point :jbhmm:

The 2022 Warriors are literally the best team in the NBA today (meaning : The NBA Champion) so it makes sense they would beat teams that didn't win back then, just as they beat other teams today.

What set of rules are we playing by? 90s or 2020s?

No one really says this when they say X team from this decade would be X team from decades ago.

The 90s magic and the 90s knicks were the only teams that gave the 90s bulls problems. they actually beat them

'93 Suns. Bulls lose that game 6 and we see a game 7 in a series where they had no answer for Charles. Bulls would probably win game 7 but 1 game scenario can be difficult
:beli:

That Suns series was as close as the Sonics series, or any 6 game series for that matter, which is to say: it wasn’t. With ANY 6 game series there’s a lot of coulda woulda shoulda but ultimately it wasn’t *that* close.

The Pacers series?! In real time had mfers shook. Bulls were down with like 4 min left in a game 7.

Also the memory that any bulls/Jordan fan remembers like a gut punch is that Reggie game winner. Folk don’t even know, seeing Mike get pushed AND Jd up for the L?! Like seeing your dad get punched. Cats think KD’s shots over lebron (already up) are bad, imagine a whole ass game winner from arguably your #1 opp, the cat you threw hands with before 😭

I’m surprised this is even being disputed in. How old are cats?! Lot of you #wasntthere. In real time the Pacers were a problem, and if you was REALLY there you remember them damn lefties off the bench were giving Chicago headaches. Travis best lil quick ass off the bench, and Jalen rose used to post mike up like 2 or 3 times every game and get a bucket in a close low scoring game. They were a problem

I agree they were a problem for that Bulls team. That Bulls team was really old too.

people get on Kobe’s game 7 against the Celtics, look at Jordan’s game 7 in that Pacers series.
