Porsche 991 Turbo Terrorizing Nürburgring Traffic
We’ve seen spy shots of Porsche’s new face lifted 991 Turbo for the last few weeks running around the Nürburgring. We’ve also noted that the facelift is very mild, but the tweaks are definitely an improvement to the overall design of the car. What we haven’t seen is the cars actually moving under their own power. Just still shots. Until now.
This is a video of a bunch of Porsche’s best hotshoe testers terrorizing the ‘Ring in all the flavors of the new 991. It’s pretty epic. You see them pass a new M4. Slide the car around a few bends. Absolutely walk away from a Supra. Take down what appears to be a new Rolls Royce. And catch some air in quite a few places.
What’s missing evidently from this video is noise. Just like the current Formula 1 cars, these all sound so quiet that it really doesn’t sound like a supercar. Sure they are absolutely flying, but what’s the point if you aren’t howling around a track scaring women and children…and most men!
