9th used FL until about 2007/2008, and then started using the MPC as well for the 2nd album he did with Buckshot called The Formula. 5 of the beats were from the MPC and the other 8 were from FL and he had a contest to see if anyone could guess all 5 of the MPC beats and no one got it right. Which proved a point he was trying to make at the time that it's the man and not the machine. I'm not sure when he went from the MPC to the Maschine, which he;s using now, but it was sometime within the past few years I think. Khrysis started using the Maschine right as the 2010's started and I think 9th followed after a couple years.

Yall hating on the 2nd beat...??? ......Redman is basically Eminem before Eminem as far as persona.....and contemporary of Busta Rhymes and ODB...very overly animated delivery, energetic, spastic style.....so those "weird" sounds can easily be synched with Redman's style and lyrics.

These submissions all sound like a series of red records.
Yet I feel they do not update red's sound like he needs.

That fourth beat sounds better suited for Jay, though...but first it would need more soulful piano on the break or something to qualify.
