The Soul Supreme remix of "2nd Childhood" is better than the OG too...
I wasn't really a fan of Gods Stepson, it wasn't just the censorship.
Nas' voice was high pitched and the beats weren;t all that anyway.
The Cross was prolly the best but I'd still rather the OG...the beat doesn't make up for half the bars being censored.

The only outright upgrade that 9th did was The Cross, which admittedly is far and away superior to Em's production. I prefer virtually other beat on the OG Gods Son's production perfectly complimented Nas's lyricism and mood at the time

Not saying a few songs on god stepson weren't better but 9th so no Pete Rock by any means when it comes to remixing

Not 9th's best beat by any means (and E. Jones co-produced) but if you've listened to 9th's work over the past few years on his Jamla projects, he's not any worse, and in many ways better than ever because he's got the competition from the Soul Council to push him. .

that what i'm saying. There are other producers that are a lot better than 9th Wonder. 9th is not even on heatmakerz's level. If anything, Nas should of have Alchemist do the whole album outside of Get Down, Made you look, LRNA, and Heaven. ALC is also much better than 9th even back then.
