The Soul Supreme remix of "2nd Childhood" is better than the OG too...

I wasn't really a fan of Gods Stepson, it wasn't just the censorship.

Nas' voice was high pitched and the beats weren;t all that anyway.

The Cross was prolly the best but I'd still rather the OG...the beat doesn't make up for half the bars being censored.

The whole Soulmatic was just :wow:

The Flyest remix :krs:

"Verbalise, bring life to a still picture - It's God Given :obama:"

"Wonder does Faith think about BIG anymore :mjcry:"

ya thats the usual 9th criticism ... i think its pretty nitpicky and gay but thats just me ... just because he's not pete rock doesnt mean hes not dope in his own right knock it the fukk off

yeah and what makes it really funny is that people wanted 9th to change up his drums...so he did. On Buckshot's Chemistry album he changed things up and then people shytted on him there for not "sticking with his sound." So you can't really win for losing. 9th has some beats in the past few years that sound different than his normal style, but he also has some of his best work ever in recent years.

If anything, Nas should of have Alchemist do the whole album outside of Get Down, Made you look, LRNA, and Heaven. ALC is also much better than 9th even back then.

I don't think anyone would knock that. Plenty of people have wondered why the fukk Nas hasn't gone back to being a frequent collaborator with ALC. I think ALC was the last great frequent producer for Nas besides No ID, but No ID and Nas has been a new thing.

No matter how you slice it, I don't think anyone was demanding a full album. There's no good reason for Nas to have not collaborated with 9th Wonder at any point up to now. Nas said he knew the people wanted it and that he wanted to do it.

9th did actually produce for Nas and Damien Marley but it's unreleased.
