No song is so sacred that it's above sampling or remaking. With that said this remake doesn't come close to being as good as the original, which was one of the best pop/r&b songs of the 90's. It's kind of forgettable really.

The problem is that its no soul in the remake like he never got no box from the high school girl he wanted. The first lyrics explains who needs to sing this song "have you ever loved someone so much you thought you die"

Yeah they should of got someone to flip the original to a more modern sound.
