Fish N Steak is the best track on the album far and away.

It’s weird. Hip hop just not doing it for me lately. Think I’m gonna take a long break from it after the Cole album. Everything I have heard the past two years been mid to me. This didn’t really do anything for me either. Only songs I’ll go back to are whiskey, fish n steak, swat team, stay here for life, and stop snitching.

I never get why people have this criticism of Rocky, he came in the game not saying shyt.

He is flow/aesthetic/beats

A high level vibes rapper.

If you approach his music thru that lens you may appreciate it more, or just avoid altogether if thats some shyt you have no interest in.

Same here. I came in with basically zero expectations and I left messing with quite a few songs on there. Much more than I would’ve thought for a Rocky album in 2026.

Decent album in today's slop music landscape, there's almost a nostalgic quality to it. Words are enunciated. Tracks have concepts. Beats are well picked. That effort already puts it above most stuff coming out.

Rocky raps with conviction, which is rare nowadays, even amongst the elite. On the negative side the subject matter (and the pen in general) is meh and the direction is questionable at times. But if he can draw inspiration from the right sources he still has a few good ones in him.
