Not an Asap fan in the slightest but i’m surprised i’m actually enjoying this album.

On Robbery right now and Doechii is doing her female-Kendrick impression and honestly…not bad at all, her and Asap have great chemistry.

The album’s sequencing is top notch.

Asap is one of those “vibe” rappers that actually has talent lyrically and vocally. His subject matter is limited but what he lacks in substance he makes up for in presence. He’s a decent song writer too. This is an album I can already tell would pass the whip test.

Probably not an album i’ll be running back a month from now but his fanbase should be eating this up and a few of these songs should license well in film/tv.

Edit- whoever that was on Stop Snitching was a highlight.

I played it, don't really remember it. I'll listen again. The Sauce Walka verse was highlight for me on first listen.

Can I keep it 100. So far the album sounds nice. I wish he tried to experiment bringing the ny regional sound back instead of trap beats though. Thats been a terrible trend for new york tbh. I will say that new york has been ass beat wise for awhile now.

It’s a cool. A bit all over the place with digs at Drake everywhere it starts cohesive, then it just runs everywhere with no structure. This is definitely meant for those festivals. He should’ve just dropped two separate disc, a rap side & an alt side.
