It wasn't even supposed to be an album

He wouldnt even have a deal if it wasnt for Rocky. His most popular song off of it had a Rocky feature and only reason it sold like 110k or whatever is cause of the Asap brand that Rocky (and Yams) established. Stop posting.

Thread title is talking about who makes better music not who's more popular. With that said I agree with this statement and OP: Rocky makes better music than Cole, Trap Lord was better than LLA (which was also a very dope album).

Yes this is widely known. Even j Coles best shyt (Friday night lights) isn't as good as asaps worst project (lords never worry, group mixtape)

I think ASAP does have more of a replay value on a wider scale bc his music is so easy to listen to. Cole has better bars in my opinion but a lot of times you just want music that sounds cool to keep the mood light.

Rocky's mixtape is the best mixtape of the past five years. His debut album is a little better than Cole's recent album too.. Cole is very good but Rocky is close to great. Shame his buzz has died.

Only thing Cole got on Rocky is lyricism, everything else Rocky is better at - more versatile flow, dope voice, better hooks, charisma, etc. I still listen to few track from Rocky's mixtape. J. Cole ain't on my radar currently.
