Alright I've just copped the download. About to listen to this. Its going to be my first official full length album listen of 2018. Hoping this is Fire. ALLA was 'experimental' and it came out fine.

relistened

went from liking 4 songs to 7

asap forever
changes
brotha man
kids turned out fine
purity
black tux white collar
hun43rd

these songs flow together really well in terms of cohesion. he should’ve went with those songs.. and tony tone and buck shots. cut out the filler. and reorganize the order and made it a 10 song album. album should’ve started with Changes as it would’ve set the tone for the sound.

and why is there so much echoed in the background vocals through out it? it makes the engineering sound very messy.

the issue with the album is, as it is.. it feels all over the place, lacks cohesion like ALLA and Live love really had.

track listing in terms of quality is

opens up with a bad song
great
good enough to bop my head
3 skippable tracks
kinda hot
great
trash
decent
great
great
great
great

cut out the bad, trash and skips, reorganize the track order and just offered a 10 songs album with two extra deluxe version songs like a clams casino produced track with Q and another song with Frank & Tyler it would’ve been WAY better received.

a lot of the affects he had going on in the back ground make it sound messy and lazy.

i wish i was a music producer so i could’ve offered him some critique

Fellas is there a concept?

On first listen it’s waves.. doesn’t seem like it’s formatted and structured in a specific way

What kind of lame generalisation is that?

get the fukk outta here Tyler got some great music

Tyler's trash. And if Rocky is copying Tyler to make what ASAP Rocky fans consider to be Rocky's worst album yet, then why would you think most Rocky fans fukk with Tyler?

If you don't have an interesting/intelligent response to this, then @ me again with a bytchmade one :mjlol: :umad:

God's Plan
this is no different to the his last album (LSD anyone??)
are there any songs as good as lsd here tho?
this isnt as good as his last album at all. his rapping isnt as strong either. maybe it'll grow on me but on first listen its very underwhelming. started to pick up toward the middle of the album tho. yams and dangermouse has executive producer credits on the last project and im thinking their absence is felt--he shouldve let tyler ep it, actually.

depends on what your meaning of good is

personally i see lsd as a mood musical piece, asap forever has that feel but not the same as one is rapping more than the other
i think this album fits right in with today , it doesn't have to be better than the last , rocky seems more like the "best of" type artists anyway, you can put his best songs in a playlist and it would bang

he's trying to come off as avant gard but its not hitting right

This is rocky’s Atrocity Exhibition, Cherry Bomb, and Yeezus. Experimental as fukk a lot of folks aren’t gonna understand this shyt, but I think it’s fye :blessed:

People were expecting random swag raps over some bass and instead got some real left field ass shyt

Exactly. This album ain’t bad at all
