man this album is fukking trash. Of course the jealous Rocky haters who rushed into this thread will celebrate me saying this while doing full time hours in this thread.

This is the problem with disappearing for a long time. The moment you decide to come back, shyt better be FLAMES or it's painfully clear that you're washed. And right now, Rocky is sounding super washed. It's weird. His sound is narrower than ever before (glimpses of screw and 3 6-isms everywhere) while being lame acoustic/artsy. Rocky is known for having the hardest beats in the game. None of these beats bang.

Thought FKA Twigs had given up music entirely after white dude left her. Odd feature. Listening to this now. Four tracks in. Only really into the A$AP Forever remix so far but it's early.

That track is a couple years old. It was supposed to be on ALLA.

This album fukking sucks. There’s no way around that. I didn’t even have Live.Love.ASAP expectations, and it’s still not even good. Extremely forgettable album. Even the songs that start off good even up being ass cause the beat will switch up in the middle to some garbage. The only listenable album is Gunz N Butter, which doesn’t even have an actual Juicy J verse, just some damn adlibs. Rocky is done unless he can tie some strings to ASAP Yams and pull a Weekend At Bernie’s and have him produce his previous sound/aesthetic.

yea i went into it with no expectations, and honestly even tho it was uneven i thought his last joint took some risks and garnered some rewards. LSD, Excuse Me, Everyday, Max B etc

this? idk it has no real direction. the production is redundant, i feel like him and Ferg are just following along instead of trying new sounds. that especially includes the Cozy Tapes which i thought were a waste of time

You’re probably right, but there wasn’t anything false in Sir bytch’s post. This album simply isn’t good. Sure, it has different songs on it, but it sucks. I don’t know why people thinking experimenting automatically makes something good. They aren’t synonymous.
