I'm also in the "it wore off camp" once I got over the :fire: production and started listening to him, I always felt like his rhymes were empty, there are quite a few songs where I'm like "what was the point, what was that song even about"

Those were my complaints from day one
But in a day and age where most rappers are talking nonsense, at least A$AP had the courtesy to coup it with good production and music.

Nah, I've never been big into nonsense, I need cohesion in a song, whether it's drugs, fly shyt, conscious shyt, a love song. Thats why I've always felt Wayne was overrated, at the "height" of his skill, he was just stringing along clever punchlines, with no cohesion in most his songs.

Some songs stuck around...but for the most part it wore off.

Personally, I felt like his debut mixtape was a modern classic. Album just didn't do it for me though. Seemed like a watered down version of his previous work.

I mean its dope if you take it for what it is. Nothing special but I still been playing it since it dropped. Lyrics are meh, but the production is dope and the flow is good. I just wish Purrp and ASAP were still working together. That album shoulda had Pretty Flacko and a Remix version on it.

Ferg was always a hit or miss IMO. I either really like his verse or I thought it was :trash:

His verse on Ghetto Symphony was dope.
