I just saw this. Lost a ton of respect for Alex Haley.

Even into the 2000s they were actually interviewing presidents lol.The most amazing part of this is that at one time, Playboy was considered hard hitting journalism and they were actually conducting interviews with figures like MLK.![]()

Good post. This is the crux of the issue and the ideological divergence of King and X. It also shows the the incongruent nature of Islam and Christianity. As I've said in another post..
Malcolm X was operating in the real world. King was operating according to his faith which is incongruent with the world we live in today.
And I don't know if the two ideologies can be reconciled but we need both.
As a Christian, I view King's approach as the right and ultimate approach. But we also need an approach that is more in touch with society, with the people which X had.
I think King and other Civil Rights leaders understood this which is why they wouldn't have completely discredited X nor any other militant leaders but also didn't know how to reconcile the opposing ideologies.

HALEY IS THE SAME PIECE OF shyt
WHO CREATED THE GAY shyt ABOUT MALCOLM AS WELL.
BURN IN HELL.
I think you mean Manning Marable. Malcolm Jarvis was Shorty from the movie (I had to google that name)I thought Malcolm Jarvis started that allegation about Malcolm x. I was about actually buy the book by Malcolm Jarvis. I was curious of his perspective because that was his right hand man before they were sent to prison.
Yeah, I read somewhere shorty didn’t like how he was portrayed in the movie. The book was to clear his name and he said some things about Malcolm. I may have mixed it up though.I think you mean Manning Marable. Malcolm Jarvis was Shorty from the movie (I had to google that name)

people believe too much of what white conservatives and black grifters tell us about MLK.
You investigate every negative rumor about him and its source is either some Tariq type breh or a right wing cac
