that shyt is dangerous. And what does COOKING the meat do? :mjlol:
And I’m black
Can we stop saying it’s “dangerous”?

If you clean up after yourself and have common sense it’s not dangerous. Is it necessary? Well it depends on your reason for washing it. If you’re washing it to kill bacteria, then there’s no point, because cooking it does that job. But it’s not dangerous to wash it. Just clean up after yourself… which you should be doing anyway.

The sleepless city
I used to but stop after seeing a news story on it. I know I was guilty of spreading shyt all around my kitchen :francis:

So you don't clean and sanitize your surfaces after preparing meat?
:dwillhuh:

U got to be even dumber than those crazy people who use dish soap if u think lemon and water will clean raw chicken:mjlol:

Yes it cleans all the stagnant blood and takes away that raw smell that it has coming from lord knows where, then cooking to proper temp kills any bacteria, did you kill that chicken and package it yourself?
Even when you kill a wild animal you do the same, have you never caught a fish and then eat it, you gut it, scale it depending on the type of fish, rinse it then cook ....

Goddamnit no!

Cooking cooks it.

Washing it washes off blood, goop, dirt, bone-fragments, etc...

Ya'll don't really taste the dirt and goop and bone-fragments when you eat that shyt? :dwillhuh:

what kind of DIY farmers market are you shopping at? Ive never seen meat that looked or tasted like that. I never wash meat unless I'm cutting up a whole chicken myself.

maybe thats where the tradition started...having to wash inferior meat now doing it out of generational habit :jbhmm:

my mom still eats chitlins :mjcry: i know she washes it too

THIS. I bet is from old traditions or old butchering standards

Alot of chickens I wash still have feathers on them, so I don't really trust their cleaning process.
