We are only hiring temps right now. But you’d need some kind of experience for my field. Me and two others conduct the interviews and do the hiring

I do have a government connect but you’d have to take a pay cut (start in 50s) and then you’d get a raise every year. Last year I think it was 8% so you’d move up pretty quickly.

But the jobs are in the DC/MD area. Where you live?

I currently work for the govt as a contract specialist bur ima GS 11 trying to get a 12. I live in the 757 area of Virginia. I am close to getting certified but need to pass the huge new contracting certification exam for this new certification program that started last year and i wasnt granfathered in on the old program. I make ok but trying to get way more. I have an MBA and years of experience in finance, contracts, data analysis, metrics, admin work, etc.

My friend is a GS14 in the DC area. He started in 2010 so he was probably grandfathered in.

I could probably get you a temp job but it starts around 80K. Not sure if worth it because you can probably make more at the government plus y’all get that pension too right?.
