Doesn't look like much is going to happen because everyone has cap space this summer.

The issue is that after the guys that are supposed to get paid get theirs, there is going to be a lot of teams left with cap space to fill minimum salary thresholds.

So the mid tier players are about to feast this summer :whew:

It would seem moot for any real contender to make a trade of future talent for additional pieces for now since it's pretty much understood that the Warriors have shyt on lock until 2017.

The only reason to really make moves is to make your team more attractive to Durant, honestly.

shyt is too quiet right now... I know usually it doesn't pick up until that one big show drops (Dwight or Horford?) but you'd think something would happen by now. I feel like a Woj bomb is gonna hit us any second now :lupe:

I mean if thats the case every team needs to just mail it in for the next 2 seasons...So whats the point in playing the season? I think some teams still want to improve (buy) or set their futures up (sell)....But I do think Atlanta is grossly over valuing their personnel and that teams aren't in a rush to trade for guys who are expiring.

I agree with you.

I'm not saying teams should mail it in. I'm saying, that's what I believe they will do.

It's crazy when you think about it really. GSW has people thinking about the Durant competition more than the Chip this year.

shyt sucks but, for NBA drama sake, I hope GSW become a real villain next year.

GSW & Drake seem to parallel in that respect.

The general public seems to love both...but the reason to love them seems to be wearing thin. Both can be annoying as fukk, really. :russ:

I hope GSW run into injury problems but that is the hater in me.
