Love for Horford & Korver![]()
He could be a low budget Russell Westbrook with the all around game. He isn't the greatest shooter by any means but he has a nice all around game that he just has to develop and his shooting will improve too I think.Victor is kinda a player who doesn't really fit in today's NBA as a starter. The talent is there but the rest isn't. For Atlanta to trade Jeff, they gonna have to come off of Gordon and Oladipo.
Keep Teague, fukk Al. If we get rid of Teague we need to blow it up and get rid of everybody
I just remembered there being talk of the Cavs being interested in him during the offseason. Buyout would seem more plausible given his contract though.
Teague is a good player but he's not worth Oladipo and Gordon.
Like I said yesterday some of you Hawk fans are setting yourselves up for disappointment
We are fans, we aren't the GM and I do think you gonna have to come out of pockets for Jeff. Unquestionably. I think he is worth a very high price tag. This, I am not sure.
Joe Johnson wants out
A big that doesn't rebound, has no heart, is frail, disappears in the playoffs, and moves further away from the paint yearly. People in the league still believes he has value, so move him while you can.
Wouldn't take that too serious.
Ainge is an expert at this

Another reason why Teague I valued is you are getting borderline top 10 pg production for 8 mill per. In a world where dragon gets 19 mill and Brandon Jennings gets 15 mill perYeah. Pretty much nailed. it.
He deserves it, too. He's been a pro about this. Time to figure out a way to get him out of that dumpster fire.
I disagree with your description of Horford, but agree that his value may never be higher than it is right now.
He's also now one of the better three point shooters on the team. Top 5, which is buoyed by his high FG%. Anyway, point stands... if you can get a great package for him... make a move.
Yeah, he's an operator. My only question is -- what's the goal for Danny? One star is certainly not enough to make you a contender, and there aren't enough top-flight talents on the team to entice free agents.
So do you try to make a move for a star-ish level player, and hope to draw one in? Hope you can sign two (there aren't really two available to you guys this offseason) -- or bank on the draft, give it a year, and chase 2017 players?
A lot of draft picks, a lot of options, but no definite direction -- though I'm sure Ainge will clear that up over the next 4 months.
Nah. He's not a star, and not a prospect. He's a good player. He doesn't defend well and he's prone to lapses. He shoots a low percentage from the floor, which may be helped by improving 3pt rates...
That being said, he's in his prime. He's been healthy, and he can make plays. I don't think teams are going to see untapped potential in him, but I do think they see somebody who could be a good point guard for their team for the next 3-4 seasons. Only problem is, his contract is UP halfway thru that. IF he had 3 years left on his deal... I'd say he's really good value. With 1.5 left... he's only good value.

You can't name 10 better pgs. And for Orlando that makes perfect sense because after 1.5 yrs they will know whether their currently 19 years old elfrid Payton is the pg of the future. Until they get to that point they get steady production at point guard.Yeah, NEXT season.
But after that, he's probably going to cost you $15-18 Million a year. And you're going to be signing him through 33 years old.
And "borderline top 10" really means "middle 10" He's in that MIDDLE 10 of nba point guards.
Maybe that's worth it to you. I don't know if it is, for me.

Teague isn't going to make them a playoff team, so why give up assets for him? Steph, Westbrook, Paul, Lowry, Bledsoe, Lillard, Wall, Conley, Kryie - are all clearly ahead of him. That's nine right there, easy.
Teague is firmly in the next tier: Teague, Kemba, Dragic, Parker, Marcus Smart, Isaiah Thomas, Reggie Jackson, Rubio if he's your cup of tea, hell PHX is about to turn Devin Booker into a hell of a point guard prospect, and Brandon Knight was outplaying teague before he was hurt.
And you're asking a team to give up two of their best young pieces for a two year tryout as a position they recently spent a lottery pick on.
It just doesn't make sense, in my opinion.Teague isn't going to make them a playoff team, so why give up assets for him?
Anyway, maybe they'll do it, who knows.
at the disrespect of touch me.
The teams who don't have them are losing because every night, someone giving you that work in that position so it's a need position for teams who lack a PGWhy would anyone pay a high price for a point guard in a league over-saturated with them? It makes no sense.
