Nah you don't trade Clarkson until you find out this offseason if you keep the top 3 pick. You have to keep hold of all young assets until you know more what the future will look like.
Besides, his salary is too low (right now) so you would have to include him as a sweetener to dump contracts and there is not much incentive for the Lakers to go through extreme measures to do that unless it brings back a high pick or something of value.

Just want to note something about the Pistons...

Tobias is 23, Jackson is 25, Drummond & KCP are 22, Johnson is 19.

Tobias & Jackson just signed 5 year deals this past offseason, Drummond is probably gonna sign one this offseason and KCP & Stanley are on rookie contracts.

Can we talk about the job SVG has done building this team to be able to compete now while also having a young nucleus locked down :wow:

It is not possible to do more than Van Gully did in not even two years with this team.

Man if he fukk around and get Ryan Anderson in the off season :wow:

Should probably be GM of the year.

You can make the argument that he came out ahead on that Reggie Jackson deal to:wow:

I swear if he gets Anderson....Hes been hitting on all cylinders and all I think back to is how Howard shytted on him and Howard hasn't been the same ever since....Howard was a superstar under this dude.

Man you pair Ryan Anderson with what Drummond is becoming :damn:

Even crazier the east does not have very many big men who can punish Anderson at the 4 like the west does...so his lack of defense isn't THAT bad...

He going from playing against Dirk, Duncan, Aldridge, Gasol, Zbo, Jordan, Griffin, Cousins, Towns...

To...Monroe, Bosh (who might have to retire) Whiteside (all but gone after this year), Love, Lopez, Zeller, Olynk, Noel, Okafor, Lopez. the other Lopez

And half the dudes on that east list can't even remotely guard Ryan Anderson at the 4 themselves...

If I'm an eastern conference team I might at least throw a low budget offer at Ryan Anderson in the off season cause you CAN'T just let Detriot swoop in and grab him right off the bat...
