This is the woat deadline. Jim Buss snorting coke on a hookers ass right now thinking the deadline is next Thursday.

What I really dont get is why teams wait until the last fukking day down to the minute to do something.


They need to make the trade deadline a window, like one week during the season you can do trades. Teams would have more urgency to pull off a trade and instead of trade "deadline" we'd be talking about trade week.

Because they like to play around with each other until a better deal comes along.

They'll line shyt up and won't call each other back until the last hour. That's why all those deals seemed like they were coming out of the ass last year.

It's about free agency. Trades don't happen unless they're necessary. Since everyone is gonna have money there's no urgency for cap related moves

Most people don't realize teams can trade whenever the hell they want until the deadline. Give em a window to work within and it goes from being about the last day, to being about the full week, 2 weeks or a month of trade talk

You essentially get that now though. December 15th thru mid-February is the time period when almost all contracts can be traded.

That new owner completely fukked everything up. They HAD noel. he landed IN THEIR LAPS. And then they traded him like outright morons.

They traded for Asik, he was awful, and then they re-upped him for 4 years.

Nothing they do makes any goddamn sense.
