That would've been huge for the Blazers
. He was miserable after his brother was traded. It was best for both sides to move on. Could have got more for him if management didn't wait six months after he requested a trade.

how is it a great trade? green cant shoot, rebound and defends like shyt, is inconsistent...and our starting 5 isnt as bad as our bench....if anything our starting 5 might be the best in the league. OUR BENCH SUCKS. Trading stephenson away causes us to have no playmakers on the bench...now rivers and crawford will make decisions...prigioni cant break down a defense...so our bench offense is non existent....lance at least was capable of making plays and having the others follow his lead....doc is so fukking dumb it hurts to comprehend.

i feel doc undervalued stephenson, but moving him for green is NOT a terrible move. unfortunately lance wasnt going to get minutes once rivers was healthy again anyway. now they have the athletic SF/back up PF they have been coveting. hes going to have CHRIS PAUL feeding him breh. if anyone is going to get the best out of him its cp3. hes made wes johnson look serviceable and green is easily a better player than him. his last 10 games hes averaging 17.9 ppg on 49% shooting....on an offensively challenged grizzlies team. he now plays on one of the best offenses with proper floor spacing. this is a good move. i think lance couldve helped them, but doc clearly didnt see it that way. hes been at the end of the bench since december it seems. at least it wasnt for that stiff channing frye.
