Reparations and/or restitution is owed, but what also needs to happen is justice for Black people need to also be applied. So, who is going to do the former & latter?
I hope what is owed will be paid, but I also hope that Black people will also be in equal social standing as everyone else!
So, I agree that money isn’t enough, but it can’t not dismissed either. I know that in this current system, there has to be an underclass for this current unjust system to thrive. Black people happen to be that underclass which was designed and that needs to change!
I hope it does change within our lifetime!

If a check is all thats offered we should take it. I dont want us to be sitting there turning down the money because there werent any "programs" to go along with it.
