There are actually plenty of good men out there. When women in their 20's say they want a good man, they are looking for an Odell Becham Jr. or Idris Alba (NO HOMO) that will be loyal to them but they get bitter and jaded by guys on that level exercising their options.

When women in their 30's say they want a good man, they are just looking for a sucker to financially drain since they didn't land the big fish they wanted when they were hot and popping.

What are men looking for in their 20s vs 30s? What are you looking for right now in your 20s? What are your plans for when you reach your 30s?

The fact that this is an issue is an indication of a societal break down. You all live in a crumbling civilization( Large multitude of men AND women have no principle nor honor). The only one premise I agree with in the OP is fix yourself and not worry about the other person. If the other person does not treat you with humanity then set your emotions aside and get away from them.

I think men say this to feel better about themselves becauses of rejections they faced while younger. 'She doesn't want me now but wait until she turns 30 and has wrinkles. Noone will want her." Holding on to hope, that's all. I have never heard any man who didn't have problems with women say this. In addition, all those I know getting married in their 30s are marrying people their age, myself included.

But let some folks tell it, women over 30 are to be put to death because noone wants them anymore. Yea..OK.

I agree with this. I think men should do the same. People get so scared they are gonna get left behind that they marry too early and never fully develop themselves as individuals.
