I think Smart could be great defensively, but I have a tough time believing he'll be elite on offense, where as that first step from Exum is insane and at his height if they play him at the 2 there won't be many guys that will be able to check him off the dribble.

Smart was 6'2" without shoes, and 6'4" (dude was rocking heels) with them.

Exum was 6'6" with shoes, similar wingspan but that little bit of extra height goes a long way to seeing over a defense and getting a clean look at the rim.

I still think smart is the most NBA ready.

people knock his height and athleticism but dude just has a scorers mentality, and I usually don't like shoot first PGs but dude will make the quickest impact out of this whole class.

The last two guys that got the "most NBA ready" tag were Thomas Robinson and Anthony Bennett :whoa:

KD and Paul George both had crappy handles coming into the league, that's something that can be improved.

In my opinion only Embiid has a higher ceiling than Wiggins, there's only 3 guys in this draft that could be elite two way players, Exum, Embiid and Wiggins.
Personally I would add Smart to that list but that's just me. :manny:

Exum will be a bust mark my words. Lavine and Smart will be All Stars and Exum will go back across the pond once his rookie deal is up. Nothing about this kid says elite he just hyped up over that USA vs World game. If he's lucky he will be a poor mans Avery Bradley and that's not saying much.

That doesn't make any sense. Even from the small sample size we have of his game - it's nothing like Bradley's.

He has a quicker first step than either of them
He can actually dribble unlike LaVine
He is taller than both of them
His form looks better than Smarts
He is younger than both LaVine and Smart
He has a better offensive repertoire than either of them: floaters, slashes, post ups, PNR

they said he was killing US guards in practice as well

considering the Harrison twins are projected first rounders, that not a bad thing

Harrison twins sorry :stopitslime: looks to me as if they are holding back alot everytime I watch kentucky.

What nikkas gotta understand is that Julius Randle is the future. Quick first step, good touch, very aggressive, and a excellent scorer.
