Last time MFers were hyping up a guard like this who played overseas and nobody barely saw play was Ricky Rubio. We all know how that turned out

BTW, what the fukk is up with the Randle hate around here? IMO he's the most pro ready prospect and will be much better in the league than he is in college

alligator arms. dude has no wingspan and will get his shot packed in the league. plus the lack of fundamental and outside j don't help when he lacks elite explosiveness or wingspan.

they didn't dominate a game where allegedly the best talent since 03 was playing[/B]. you had Parker and Randle on the US team and you had Wiggins and Embiid on the World team. and out of all those dudes, I would say Exum was the most impressive in the game. he also dominated the U19 FIBA competition which had Smart and Gordon playing for the US. He didn't play the US but killed Spain who is good.
How they're the best talent when none of the nikkas you named is even averaging 20 ppg?

The last 4 great #1 picks (Anthony Davis, Rose, John Wall, and Blake Griffin) didn't average 20ppg in their freshman years. Hell Michael Jordan didn't average 20ppg in 3 college seasons.

not saying these guys will be jordan but using college stats to judge nba prospects is STUPID

if college stats meant anything, Michael Beasley would be a consensus top 5 player in the league and Russell Westbrook would be struggling to get a contract above the veterans minimum.

not if someone like Noah Vonleh is on the board. Randle is not in class with the elite players of this class (Wiggins, Embiid, Exum, and Parker). And now that I've seen him play and seen vonleh, I don't think he's better than him either.

If the Lakers lose out of the top 4, I'd take Noah Vonleh #5 ahead of Randle.

Y'all stepping on randle he will be able to rebound and score In the interior.6'9 250lbs with decent length arms...already shown he could bang on the inside and he hasn't shown his full game...you sleeping Breh.

you don't have to goto college. You just have to be a year removed from high school. Which is why Brandon Jennings played overseas instead of going to college

Wish his he would have stayed and bought Josh Smith a plane ticket to join him.

I just had an argument with a friend about how Brandon Jennings was garbage. We were talking about how KD got all these ballers out here trying to drop 50, in reference to dude from Toronto that just did it. ANd he was like you can't suck if you drop 50 and I mentioned Brandon Jennings and dude really tried to say that he was a good player. :snoop:

Jennings does have the talent to be a good player...it's his basketball iq and want to learn that's lacking,

Hell no. He has the talent to be on the bottom rung of starter PG or maybe a decent 6th man on a squad.

He's not very athletic, he has a small frame, he's an inconsistent shooter, a subpar scorer, he cheats a lot on defense because he's not a good on-ball defender, and his ability to control a game and awareness is average.

I can't honestly think of one team team that would benefit from replacing their starting PG. He's just not that good.

Its true. I could be proven wrong. However, if I had the 5th pick and Randle and Vonleh are on the board, I'm taking Vonleh without even thinking. To me he's head and shoulders above Randle. Vonleh is about the same height as Randle 6'9"-6'10", however, he has a MASSIVE wingspan at 7'4" which allows him to play much bigger than his height. All the great PFs in the league have winspans like this. Randle 6'11" wingspan is WAY BELOW average. Only dudes with similar measurables that have succeeded are Griffin and Love. And both are not traditional back to the basket bigs. Love is out there shooting 3s and Griffin has now become a mid-range shooter. Lack of an above average wingspan means he CANNOT be a dominant back to the basket.

Maybe he can develop other facets of his game to make up for his lack of long arms, however, I'm not willing to take that risk. Especially considering there is a younger more talented player at his same position that should be available.

Gimme Vonleh over Randle anyday.

Lakers. we have some clown named Kendall Marshall as our starter. I'd take Jennings over any PG on our roster.

Dude, Jennings is like Swaggy P without the swag, size, and not as good at making difficult shots.
