Bayo 2 fukked up being on Wii U. Trust if it was on PS3/4 it would have sold better than the first one. Was easily a GOTY contender.
The first one wasn't promoted as much and the second one was a nintendo exclusive. Has nothing to do with the gameplay though. The gameplay was definitely more refined than the GOW series. Hell, GOW was basically the same game gameplay wise since the first one. From what I've seen on the trailer, I think this is gonna be awesome, especially if it's on some open world type shyt... It's looking like they went away from hack n slash and puzzles to add more elements to the gameplay.

God of war desperately needed this. The same way resident evil needed it on the 4th entry.
Gears of War needed it to. Instead the new one looks stale and tired because they just rehashed the same shyt. Diminishing returns.
Sad thing is I was reading interviews with the new gears studio and all their ideas to change the franchise were shot down to make it as similar as possible
