Yea right nikka. You buying God of Nazis day one then you're gonna complain your way through it.

You just exposed yourself. Admitted your idea of fun is casual gameplay.
??

Bayonetta 2 is casual gameplay?

I said God of War is boring now. It's not challenging. God of War is the most "casual" hack and slash game out. You seriously tryna put GOD OF WAR on the same level as Bayonetta or Devil May Cry?? MGR? Those games shyt all over God of War in actual gameplay combat.

Uncharted 4 on crushing is challenging but it's not always fun because you can't really do everything the game allows you to do while playing.

TLOU on the hardest difficulty felt right because it worked within the design of the game. Everything the game gives you is able to be used but it's more strategic.

Uncharted is just annoying and ends up being frustrating because the tools/options they give you don't really work on crushing in most of it's levels. The game needed a few more tweaks for Crushing mode imo.

and of course i'm buying this game day one. It looked fukking dope :dahell:.

I didn't buy Ascension, I literally played the demo and skipped it due to boredom. I then had played some of it later when PS Now came out and it was okay but I just didn't feel like finishing it. Gameplay was boring and redundant. When you got 6 God of War games with the same exact gameplay, you kind of get tired of it.

god of war may not have had a top tier combat system but outside of the first PSP entry its been far and away the best "modern" beat em up

ascension wasnt bad, its just the bosses in that game had no depth compared to what was built in 1-3

they dropped the ball story wise in ascension otherwise it was crack for the most part

Another thing is E3 videos and previews say nothing about how the full game will be. Remember Uncharted 4?? Every gameplay preview was heavy combat. The first world reveal gameplay was the Jungle fight which was pure combat and no set piece. That was looking good.

Then the second video was the E3 convoy chase set piece which was :ohlawd:

Then the final one was the previews showing the madagascar gameplay encounter. Other than that they merely showed a trailer or two and it was all action heavy. We rarely if ever saw the exploration/slower parts.

Game comes out and we found out that the game had A LOT of slower moments and shyt that we didn't know about.

TLOU on the other hand had lots of meaty beat em up/shooty gameplay. TLOU was very 'gamey' for what it's worth. People pretend TLOU is some long drawn out walk and talk game when in actuality you're pretty much "playing" it a lot.

It seems self evident to me. You get long exposition, slow walking and talking scenes, and "emotional" appeals with the new Kratos. While the old one is about ripping nikkas in half and raping gods :takedat:.

Found this interview from the game director which may explain the motivation for the new direction.

Making Kratos a soft ass dude with fatherly love and parental responsibilities and shyt. :francis: Too bad this dude ain't sterile :scust:
We only saw what 10 minutes. Im sure the whole game won't be slow walking and shyt

and Ascension was boring as shyt.

Y'all dudes want to play old God of War, then go play that. I actually yawned and rolled my eyes playing God of War Ascension. I got 3 remastered and I never bothered to pop it in. Those games are just boring as hell to play.

The combos are the same, no skill involved. Of course the hardest difficulty mode will be challenging. UC4 on Crushing can be challenging, doesn't mean it's fun as hell to play. :manny:

After playing Bayonetta 2, I couldn't be bothered to play another God of War game. That game was too damn good. Y'all gotta cop a Wii U or rent it or something..

Y'all think y'all want God of War but it's hard to play God of War after playing Bayonetta 2.
This new change made me interested again in God of War. Prior to E3 I was always saying how uninterested I was in God of War.

Yeah Bayonetta 2 pretty much killed God Of War for me. I remember playing Asension on PSNOW, got stuck in some puzzle and said fukk it. I had played the B2 demo and the game was dropping soon and I didn't want to be bothered with a boring ass GOW game.
