@ comparing paul walker and ryan reynolds.@ comparing paul walker and ryan reynolds.
if anything you should be comparing chris evans to ryan reynolds, since they pretty much were damn near the same person acting-wise until chris evans took some roles out of his comfort zone (see: puncture, street kings, sunshine, the new iceman flick coming out) and proved he has range and versatility while reynolds stays in his van wilder lane unless he's doing a rom-com in which case he scales the sarcasm and crude humor way back and sleepwalks through the movie. and while i'm talking chris evans, even though it was typical chris evans humor-wise, his role in scott pilgrim was fukking hilarious. and say what you want but he pulled off captain america and made an easily corny as fukk character believable and more than watchable while ryan reynolds in that same role woulda been a fukking disaster. even in the fantastic four flicks, he was the only redeeming factor.
maybe if the deadpool movie actually gets made, i'll change my mind since he was born for that role but for now ryan reynolds is zzzzzzzzzzzz unless van wilder, just friends or waiting comes on. i'll give him props for his acting in the nines, but that flick is a little too out there for me and i can't watch it more than a couple times.
running scared was trash. shut up.

I made that thread onsaying Ryan Reynolds is garbage, hasn't made a good movie since Van Wilder & arguing that all of those roles for a handsome hot-bod hollywood blonde should have instead gone to Paul Walker.
I got destroyed by you fukks for that, but stood my ground. In retrospect...I was even more correct than I thought.
I just watched the trailer for this RIPD movie with Reynolds & Jeff Bridges.....holy fukking shyt!!!! If any of y'all pay for this, just give up on life.
Seriously, what's the last good movie Reynolds made? He ruined Green Lantern even further for the comic fans, sucks at action movies, can't be taken serious in drama/thrillers...and has even saturated the animated film market with like multiple voiceovers a year.
Meanwhile, Paul Walker made excellent films like Running Scared, decent films like Chasers, has teen classics like She's All That & Varsity Blues under his belt...and is winning at a ridiculous rate via the Furious franchise...and he's an awful actor too.
When will it be a....Reynolds wrap for this guy??? He SUCKS!!
but grew up to look Decent and he tries getting with her
...it's a Comedy. Then Waiting was Funny. He was also Mildly Entertaining in Blade 3 too. His Harold & Kumar Cameo was Random and made me Chuckle but anything else than that, I don't remember.
