Film just looks like its so gorgeous I'd be able to deal with it

It looked great in 1080 I can't lie. The presentation was good.

You just get to the end and realize what the whole plot was about and you're like.

I wrote a little review of this in another thread, and I can't find it now, basically it's an hour too long, and the climax is awful, but the movie itself for awhile is a lovingly creepy and atmospheric love letter to insane asylum movies, and the genre in general, and I enjoyed a lot of it.

Finally watched this.


Actually quite liked it.

Dane is great in it,and gore verbiniski's direction is top notch. The cinematography is fukking breath taking.

The movie is carried by those 2 things,dane's performance and gore's direction.

I think any horror fan will get something out of this particularly anybody that is a lovecraft fan cough @hex cough.

The movie could have been 20-30 minutes shorter but I still liked it.


Gonna need to watch this in 4k


I can definitely see this becoming a cult classic in certain circles

Yeah fukk the critics....I haven't seen this yet but it was always on my radar. Gonna check it out ASAP.
