you sounding real african ngl
what does that mean¿

most of the folks getting certified are pure saltine crackers

very few pros are trusting the care & maintenance of their instrument to someone just because they are black

being black is not a qualifier & if every pro was looking to work with only qualified black professionals they'd never get any work done because there are much much much fewer of them available

So this is an issue of scarcity of people with the credentials you mean?
:jbhmm: as far as basketball trainers go I don't think that is the case to be honest. But depending on where the team plays it is believable. In the Utah Jazz for instance ok I'd understand

I see he is being hustled by trainers that more than likely made up those useless routines to kill time and earn dollars.

All of that training, stretching, and physical pampering just to have a basic azz game, no skill individuality, and still move stiff as hell.

I swear a lot of these new jacks operate like robots.

They need to be out in the streets playing pickup. That's where all the greats got better. Jordan stayed in the streets playing pickup. Less likely to hate their community also

These pumpfake trainers got a lot of these dudes out here with the same robotic game. Like you said hit some playgrounds and pick up real moves, instincts, and intangibles.

Niggs paying these training for shyt they can do at the YMCA for free

who players choose to work with as far as skill work is really some trendy shyte

some hop from trainer to trainer routine to routine

some stick with who they came up with

& mj made that shyte a thing because before tim grover none of them had celebrity HA

that idea that you can eat nothing but chinese food off the block & just run pickup in the park with nikkas getting their little petty work off then end up a all nba hof player is some nikka fairytale shyte

The Truth
He must’ve got a line-up or something, because this just looks like he’s trying to put in work.

Idk brehs, this just looked like some fine tuning, NBA specific type workout/drills.

I actually didn’t see too much wrong with it. Looked like he was working on specific situational shyt like passing out of the double at the top of the FT line, or catching the ball in outlet passes/fast breaks… maybe specified to a type of player he is preparing to play with next year, or if he wants to transition his game into being more in the open court.

Yeah, his bag looks basic but looks like he was focusing on the basics. I don’t necessarily think this is the conditioning part of his summer. Probably a light routine until after vacation or something

On another note, this is why LeBron imo is the greatest basketball player if not athlete of all-time.

He has put so many other black folk in a position to earn a very good living. He has also had a remarkable career without any major controversy or scandals (save links to PED usage).

I see too many black athletes giving their money to white trainers.

How are trainers with no basketball background going to make a basketball player better?

Why choose to give your money to CACs? Millionaires of all people should be practicing group economics. You have the means to find the best chiropractors, therapists, trainers, etc. They should be black, now I’m even seeing black millionaire athletes get white barbers.

Off code.

Your personal chef nutritionist should be black.

All training staff.

Personal assistant/driver.

Etc

Forget trainers, what about coaches..

You have all these young White boys that never touched any ball coaching Black men when there's a pool of 100s of past Black players out of work with the knowledge, experience and intelligence to manage a team.

It's why the NFL looks like a slave plantation to many keen observers.

It's the whole White quarterback thing manifested in other ways to keep Black people out of leadership posts.

Black coaches should have coaching trees

-Dennis Green had Tony Dungy
-Tony Dungy had Herm Edwards, Jim Caldwell, Lovie Smith, Leslie Frezier, and Mike Tomlin
-Lovie Smith had Steve Wilks
-Mike Tomlin been the Steeler HC since 2007, only significant HC from his tree is Bruce Arians...

Steelers had one of the worst offensive units, Tomlin could've did Byron Leftwich a solid making him OC.
