A Different World Vs Saved By The Bell

Saved by the bell was corny and full of bad acting. Only kids could enjoy that show. I cringe looking at it now because it really wasn't a good show.

A Different World is wayyyyyy better and shouldn't even be compared to such a show.

Compare SBTB to that California Dreams show or one of those other corny shows that came on NBC.

I agree with the bolded (those are comparable shows). I won't lie though. I loved Saved by the Bell and California Dreams (I even catch myself singing the CD theme song every now and then).

I loved Saved by the Bell and A Different World, but growing up I related to SBTB more because of age. If I had to watch a rerun of either today though, I'd def pick A Different World.

I didn't appreciate A Different world when it was out, because I was way to young to care about black college life. Saved by the bell I suppose was more entertaining to me since I was closer getting into high school as opposed to college. I did order the box set of a different world years ago and watched them all.

Yep me too. Those were my go to Saturday morning shows and, lol, I still know the theme songs too. I catch some episodes of SBTB on MTV now, that's how I realized how corny the show was but for nostalgia purposes I still watch it. I don't remember when I got into A Different World. I definitely wasn't watching it when it first came out but now looking back, it was one of the best shows on tv (excluding the first season).

I'm going to keep it funky, Saved By The Bell wins this easily. I think most of y'all are only choosing A Different World because it was a Black show. I fukked with both when they were originally on, but due to my age and whatnot at the time, Saved by The Bell was easily better. I don't remember A Different World having many memorable episodes, nor do I know the series back to front. Saved By The Bell (Original class along with Tori) can't be fukked with.

they were fukking in real life, but he dumped her towards the end of the show, so she started with Martin and they even got engaged for a minute when she was on Martin as the girl he picks up at the club
