Because I remember when 9th Wonder came back down here and Jay had played him what we recorded prior to Threats, and it was already Lucifer, Encore, What More Can I Say, December 4th, Moment of Clarity, and maybe another one. Ignorant shyt maybe? They cut that off for Justify My Thug

No new info here. The original concept was supposed to be 12 songs 12 producers but not much else in the way of advertising etc, that’s why it was a Black Album - another concept he took from BIG actually who wanted to do a Black Album before he died, no videos no singles nothing just music. I think Prince originated the idea tho.

Actually Primo was supposed to do the whole album. He did an interview saying the The Black album was supposed to just he and Jay but he wouldn't come off tour to do it. I been mad at Primo ever since hearing that. He can do full albums with Royce(a great mc) and blaq poet(legendary but not a great mc) but can't fit Jay Z into his schedule? wtf man
