The actress playing Norma is really good with her conflicted expressions. You don't know what she's going to do from one second to the next.

I never read the Psycho books, so her having another son is a good twist, and a great dynamic between her incestual relationship with Norman

I don't think the chick they showed at the end was someone Norman captured, but someone from the pics that Norman found in the book. Whoever is behind that.

Judging from the 2nd episode it looks like there will be all sorts of crazy ish going down in the town. Police officer dude was like whoever burned the guy in the car will get his, cut to someone hanging burning in the city with the cops moving everyone along

Man my girl been telling me bout some new show called Bait Motel on A&E for like a month now and the first thing I thought when I heard a&e was it was some reality show about the police using a motel to set up prositutes/drug dealers/etc.

I had no idea it was Bates Motel not Bait Motel and this was bout Norman Bates

anyways....kinda dope show...its a little hard for me to wrap my head around this taking place in modern times...but other than that im kinda feeling it.

I would have much preferred this to be a period piece though
