Yeah over the past year it helped me pay off alot of debt since I have an extra $175 without any intrest and has really improved my finances. It's honestly not predatory at all and I just wanted to help some people out honestly.
Oh I feel you. You can tell who has never been down bad before cus they turn their nose up like :hhh:

I'm good now but it was weeks I'd pull my last $100 out the bank and then eat the overdraft fees when the bills hit just so I could eat and get gas. So at the time this would have saved me prolly $100 to $200 a month easy just in overdrafts.

If you never had to move like that then yeah you prolly think this is stupid:yeshrug:

When you get paid, and your bills come out and leave you with $0.37 for two weeks...40 to 100 bucks can save your life and you could care less where it comes from.

People being able to do it without a credit check and 900% interest is in fact very useful in those situation.

But y'all prolly 6cert'd up so carry on.

I hear you. It can help ppl, but for me im making changes.

Even if i have to live with my parents i will.

Yeah you can tell the cats on here who never struggled OR been guapped up for so long they forget what it's like to struggle. It ain't always as simple as "make more money, pick up a 2nd job, ask parents for money, etc".

Now if you living paycheck to paycheck for like 2 years :mjpls:

And now you need extra income to break that debt cycle

Get extra income in the beginning
Lmao breh you're talking to somebody who paid for his college education in cash with money from selling prescriptions (and had a full time job too).

Saying "get extra income" is the equivalent of telling a drug addict "quit smoking." Its useless advice. If said individual was in a situation where they could just get up, go outside, and make more money they would have been done that.

When you have 2 jobs, kids to feed, and no outside financial support and your car won't start one morning..........what's the move?:jbhmm:

A lot of us don't have this option.

Some folks live every single day as make or break with no backup plan.

Facts. I used to mess with this well off daughter of a doctor. She was shocked to find out that my parents didn't pay for ANYTHING. She thought it was abuse.

Brehs out here not realizing how much help they actually have.

True, but couldnt be me.

If not parents, ill move in with my brother, sister, friend, something find a roomate and rent out a room in my apartment.

If i cant increase your income (easier said than done), i gotta find a way to reduce my bills.

I know its not easy, i get that. I really do. But incurring more debt when you live paycheck to paycheck is something i cannot cosign, ever.

Sometimes you might be shocked by what you can live without. I personally do not have data on my phone over 1gb, no cable, no amazon prime, hulu, hbo go, subscription game services (xbox live etc). Only thing i have is netflix and i dont even pay for that, i use my sisters.

I know quite a few people who.live paycheck to paycheck who have everything i listed above and more. And i know some who dont. Every situation different.

So how do they get their money back from borrowers? Do you have to put in your bank info?

I'm assuming they make their money though in app advertisements

I've never seen any ads but you can do a tip in both apps. In dave if you want the money instantly the charge $5 on you next check or if you wait a business day no charge.

I’d rather continue following the advice imparted to me by an OG deep in the game many years ago: “Treat 50k in the bank like you have a zero balance and keep stacking from there.”
