His wife probably doesn't work he bought more house than he can afford. Goes on multiple expensive vacations per year and lives off his credit cards. Not hard to figure out why he's flat broke after only one year of unemployment. But had he just invested some of his money the last 10 years he would be set.

He should hire out on railroad, he's exactly who they want cause he can't retire at 60 like some kid in his 20s.

From his quotes you can tell he's be the type of guy to constantly let you know he was a big shot in his previous career. Then finally you ask him "then why are you here chief?"

Yeah I work with them they sell technical products and are the primary point of contact for their clients for all the technical questions. They make good of money.

Based on his photo, he’s going to have to completely revamp his appearance. He’s a fat piece of shyt and unfortunately for him, biases exist against fat people in the work place.

Same thing that I said in that thread about tech layoffs, you can't expect anybody to feel sorry for y'all when you guys had a chance to save money.

$148K per year before taxes in a major metropolitan area with 3 kids isn’t a lot of money. Even if he saved, it’s not surprising he exhausted his savings 2-3 years later.

49 is old in the workforce.. A corporation would rather get rid of him and give the same role to someone in their 20s with less pay
