It’s more likely that muslim couples do only the Islamic marriage and not the state/country registered ones.

So when the divorce happen, there’s nothing that can be done

:hubie:Allegedly
I have a homie who did exactly that. Wife started to get on his nerves shortly after marriage so he kicked her out and the only thing she got were the gold coins brides traditionally receive at marriage as insurance in case things go south :mjlol:
Breh knew what he was doing too. He told me later that she already started bytching at the ceremony and he thought to himself "thank god it's only an islamic marriage" :whew:

In this scenario the wife is a stay at home wife without a job? Even before having kids? How much does the husband make? How old were the kids when she cheated? Bc she could’ve got a job if they were school age. Did he even really want kids? Bc if not, why he marry someone who want kids? Why not sign a prenup? If he’s tired he should’ve done self care and he also should’ve communicated his feelings with his wife.

And yeah that happens sometimes but in most relationships both parties work.

I guess just pick women who understand the relationship is about both people, not just one. It’s happy spouse happy house not happy wife happy life.

This is scary cause it's obviously extreme but at the same time entirely plausible
I been on both sides of the situation. One instance literally buying gifts and taking trips and still got dumped for not "showing attention or spending enough time" only for shorty to rotate thru a bunch of bum nikkas who probably weren't even doing what i was
Other side was as a side nikka while the husband was working and providing and all i was doing was sending good morning texts and smashing :dead:
it's vicious out here

This reminds me of a post in a thread I saw on lsa. The girl said she was a stay at home mom the first year and some change but the working husband and her mother did everything in the household bc it was too much for her. Someone asked what does she do in their relationship/for him and she couldn’t answer, just got mad and blamed depression.

My question is why get into relationships where y’all do everything only to complain about it later? And those of you who like doing everything, why & what is her part in the relationship?

I have a friend who got played like that and dragged him to the courthouse.

Foul.

I didn’t understand why she didn’t know that they had to go to the courthouse too

They were married for like six month, if you make his life a living hell in that short amount of time, I wouldn't call it foul if he gets rid of you. I also doubt suing him would result in much. They weren't legally married and living together for only half a year. Breh spend crazy money on the wedding too, wining and dining like 100 of her relatives :francis:

And if they were married for 15YRS and he decided to leave? What would happen to her?
