Pretty much. He made everything too easy and convenient for her and she became accustomed to having her way.
I think it goes deeper than saying no. You have to put a woman like that in uncomfortable situations to see how she reacts. For example, even if you have the money, act like you don’t a few times and see if she pays for dinner. Make it a point to let her know you want to buy something at a store, but hesitate and see if she gets it for you. shyt like that.
If she’s always looking at you when it’s time to pay, don’t plan a future with her. I’m nice to my woman, but she had to earn the shyt I do. That entitled behavior is a big red flag.

I can see a man being the primary provider in that situation, since that was his intent and offered to do so but she wasn't making any financial contribution (2 of the kids weren't even his) and still dictating her wants, even though he was spending above his limit. Leading to their eventual financial decline. Then she leaves him at the lowest point when he wasn't able to provide the same standard of living. That's called being opportunistic and taking advantage of the family, as a whole, because she wanted to live a certain lifestyle.But nothing wrong though right?
